Flavorful & Rich
One of the reasons why I enjoy french pressed coffee is that a little bit more oil from the coffee beans makes it to the final cup which gives it a richer and fuller taste.
Steeping = Success
French press allows for steeping. When you get a good cup of tea, you use bulk tea that steeps for several minutes depending on the type of tea. The end result is a mouth-watering cup of tea. The same is true for coffee through a French press. Because the grounds steep instead of filter, the coffee tastes better.
It’s perfect for making hot coffee and tea, but also doubles in the summer for brewing iced tea.
Allow it to brew for about 4 minutes for a lighter coffee and for about 7-8 minutes for a strong coffee. I like mine somewhere in the middle, so I usually allow my coffee to steep for about 5-6 minutes.
