Payments


We currently accept Paypal, Visa, Mastercard, and American Express and Apple Pay for all purchases.


Shipping


When should I expect my order?

We're happy to serve you during this time. Please allow 1-3 business days to process your order. You will receive an email with your tracking number when your shipment goes out for postal delivery. 


We ship via UPS and USPS Monday - Friday. These carriers also observe most national holidays, so that may affect shipping times.


Do you ship orders internationally? 

Yes! We are able to ship coffee internationally. However, due to operational constraints we can only ship to Canada.


Returns & Refunds


Can I return coffee products?

Unfortunately, we are unable to accept returns on coffee due to its perishable nature. However, if you experience any problems with your coffee or if there are errors with your order, please contact us directly and we will review for a partial or full refund on a case-by-case basis. 


Can I return or exchange items damaged in transit? 

Yes! The quality of our product is extremely important. Please provide a photo of the damaged item to pass along to our shipping department. In addition, if the box is damaged, a photo of that will help us to communicate with our shipping partners. Please provide the original order number and the best return address.


Coffee


What coffee flavors do you offer?


CFP offers a variety of fun, flavorful and unique coffee selections including Original Blend, Maple Pecan, Chocolate Blueberry, Peach Nectar and Coconut Crème, an assortment of flavored Decaf coffees as well as seasonal flavors including Winter Wonderland, Snicker Cinnamon Cookie, Orange Creme, Pina Colada and Lemon Brûlée.


Do you have light, medium, and dark roast options?


Most of our roasts are typically medium to dark. We do offer light and dark roast options in our Diaspora bundle here. We source high quality beans and roast to perfection. Also, check out our premium Black Tuxe (Ethiopian Yirgacheffe) roast here.



How can I keep my coffee fresh?


We recommend that you store coffee in an airtight container in a cool, dark place.  Avoid storing your coffee in the refrigerator or freezer, or near odorous foods, spices etc, may change the flavor of the coffee.



What's the shelf life of your coffee and tea?

We pride ourselves on providing you with the freshly roasted coffee, and we roast in small batches made to order. 


The shelf life of our beans is 12 months after roasting and we recommend that once the seal is broken, they be consumed within 3 to 4 weeks for freshness.


The shelf life of our tea is 2 years, and should be stored in airtight containers. 



Is your coffee and tea allergen-gluten free?

Most of our coffee does not contain any wheat or gluten products, rye, barley or their derivatives, milk products, dairy products, dairy derivatives, eggs, egg products, soy, soy products, seeds, tree nuts, peanut products, and other legumes or seafood products, fish or shellfish, celery, mustard, sulphur dioxide and sulphites. With exception, our Chocolate Blueberry coffee includes real cocoa which contains milk. Our Maple Pecan coffee contains natural pecans. Our Coconut Creme coffee contains natural coconut shavings.


Is your coffee and tea non-GMO?

Our coffee does not contain genetically modified organisms or animal derivatives.


Do I need a French press to drink the coffee and tea or can I brew it regularly?

No. We offer a variety of grind types perfected for our customer's brewing method of choice 


You can brew our coffee in any regular coffee maker using our all purpose “Auto Drip” grind. When using a Keurig machine, select our “Keurig” grind and if you have a French Press, select our “French Press” grind. No matter how you brew, there's a grind for you! For our loose leaf tea you can also use a French press or tea infuser. Specific brewing instructions can be found on each tea product page. 


What coffee do you recommend for pregnant women?

According to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) pregnant women are safe to consume up to 200 mg per day.This is about the amount in 1½ 8-ounce cups of coffee or one 12-ounce cup of coffee.


We recommend pregnant women try our Decaf coffee options. Most of our signature selections including Original, Maple, Coconut and Chocolate Blueberry are available in Decaf.


How many cups can you make out of an 8 oz bag?

This depends on how much coffee is used per cup. If using two tablespoons per 8 oz cup, up to 40 cups of coffee can be made. 


Do you sell K-Cups?

No, however we do sell the Keurig grind. With the use of a reusable Keurig cup, you can brew our coffee! Most of our coffee is available in Keurig grind.

How can I serve or sell Chicago French Press coffee?

Are you able to provide custom coffee gift boxes for larger groups? How do I begin?

Online Orders and Subscriptions


When should I expect my order? 

Depending on when you sign up determines when you will receive your monthly subscription. 


If you sign up from the 24th - 5th your order will be delivered on the 1st of the month.

If you sign up from the 6th - 23rd your will be delivered on the 15th of the month.


How do I know which subscription to purchase?

Determine how many bags you need based on how much coffee you expect to drink. We offer two Subscription options to choose from based on your coffee consumption. If you drink more than 1-2 cups of coffee per day, we’d recommend the Grind subscription. 

The Rise - You receive one 3oz bag of your FAVORITE CFP flavor + One 3oz SURPRISE flavor. 

The Grind - You receive one 8oz bag of your FAVORITE CFP flavor + One 3oz SURPRISE flavor.

If I need to pause or cancel my subscription. How do I do that?

Contact our customer care at info@chicagofrenchpress.com to assist in modifying your monthly subscription.


Is there a size offered between the 8oz option and the 5 pound option? No, not at this time. Please feel free to purchase two or more bags. 


Orders, pickup and gift cards


Where do I find the 15% discount code for my first order? You can sign up to be a part of our SMS text club located on our website.


My discount code isn't working?

Monthly subscriptions, value bundles, and any other existing discounted items do not work with discount codes, as they are already discounted. 


Two promo codes may not be used simultaneously in the same order.


Do you offer in-store pick up?  

We do offer in-store pick up at checkout. Which is available at our South Loop location within the Roosevelt Collection. Pick-up ready within 2-4 days. You will receive a notification when your order is ready for pick-up.


Is it possible to purchase a physical gift card or are they only digital?

Digital gift cards are available online here and can be purchased individually from $5 - $500. Once purchased, you will receive an email with the e-gift card which can be forwarded to the recipient. If there is a custom amount you would like to purchase, please contact our Customer Care team. 


If you would like a physical gift card, please contact info@chicagofrenchpress.com and we can mail it to you at an individual shipping address. Our physical gift cards are also available in-store at Roosevelt Collection in South Loop, Chicago (1021 S Delano Court West, Chicago, IL 60605).

How do I redeem my CFP rewards points?

To redeem your points you must be logged in to your account and click the "Earn CFP Rewards" button to the right, and a popup will appear showing how many points you have and your discount code.
